Detailed Information for 2021 Retreat:

To Recap:  The retreat price includes all your food, guided hiking, nightly entertainment and camping. Transportation to the resort is up to you.  I recommend flying to Salt Lake or Las Vegas and renting a car (SUV) for the 5 hour drive.

For the best opportunity to integrate the peaceful energy, I recommend staying a day or 2 extra and having some quiet time on the land and also to give yourself adequate time to/from the airport. I suggest arriving on monday, OCT 11th or earlier. Our first dinner will be at the lodge on Tuesday, October 12th. On Wednesday,October 6th, breakfast will be provided at 730am and you will have free time to explore until the peace dance at 330.  Our First official event is the Peace Dance which starts at 4pm on Wednesday OCT 13th.

Accomodations:  If you would prefer to have a room instead of camping the rates are quite reasonable $30-100 in most cases.  Some rooms have multiple beds and could be shared by up to 4 people. a number of rooms are being held for our group and are available if you identify yourself with the group.   Our group receives a 10% discount on room rates so be sure to mention that when booking.  You can call the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch for reservations.  Also, you can go to their website to learn more about the ranch, its philosophy and the rooming options.

Food: The food is considered to be some of the best in the valley.  Everyone from last year raved about the quality, variety, seasoning, nutritional value, and portion size as well.  If you have any dietary requirements they can accomodate most requests.  Its even more delicious when your relaxed in such a beautiful place.  Meals are provided from dinner Tuesday night October 12th through breakfast on sunday morning October 17th.  Lunch is on your own Wednesday, Oct 13.   Drinks and desserts are an extra cost - they are not included in the meal planAlcoholic drinks are not recommended during the retreat.

Hiking: We have 3 full days of hikes planned.  Hikes are usually 4-6 miles and are designed to be within the capabilites of most people.  The hikes are picked for their beauty, peace and terrain that fits the group.  We take frequent breaks.  The intent of the hikes is to connect more deeply to yourself through connection to the land.  We will be doing activities on the land such as guided meditation,  native american blessings and other conscious activities.  Our guide this year will be David Holladay. David has lived on this land for 40 years.  He was a senior instructor at Boulder Outdoor Survival School (BOSS) for 18 years.  He has also taught primitive skills for 25 years to groups such as Rabbit Stick and Winter count.  I personally met David in 2012 and wrote about him in my book.  He is fearlessly authentic and he has an amazing amount of land wisdom to share with us.

Evening Activities: Each day we will have a sound based experiential group activity.  Last year we enjoyed a Peace dance, and a sound bath.
